Justice, finally!

The victims' families and the survivors would finally be pleased with the action of our Government. Ajmal Kasab was finally hanged. Kudos to our government.
Thank You.

After Kasab.

After the execution of Ajmal Kasab, few Pakistani papers carried reports and editorials. The Express Tribune’s November 21 editorial looked ahead: “militant groups in the country also commented on the execution, with the Lashkar-e-Toiba stating that Kasab was a hero and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan expressing shock over his execution... With such views rampant, we must show the world that as a country, we are genuinely committed to fighting terrorism. For this reason, the process of trying the accused in our country must be expedited... It raises questions about who we are protecting and why... at the top of the list of those accused by the Indian government in the Mumbai attacks is leader of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed... New Delhi says it has provided evidence to our government of involvement of Pakistani individuals in the 2008 attacks but Islamabad denies substantive proof. Such misconceptions need to be determinedly resolved if militancy is to be brought down in the country.”
Dawn’s editorial said: “the authorities in Islamabad acted to establish facts that distanced the state from the work of a few fanatic killers. But that doesn’t serve to hide the shortcomings in the working of Pakistan’s anti-terrorism apparatus and its inability to keep tabs on organisations...”
A right-wing paper, The Nation, took a tough line while condemning 26/11: “The BJP’s message that the event was a lesson for neighbouring states displays the hostile posturing that has been associated with this extremist organisation. There are... prisoners, including the one guilty of Rajiv Gandhi’s murder that took place in 1991, who are on death row and have yet to meet their fate; the haste with which Kasab has been hanged, therefore, stands in sharp contrast to that tradition. In the wake of the execution the thought that the conviction was doubtful lingers on; this is compounded for want of conclusive proof... amid Indian authorities denying a chance to [the] Pakistani judicial commission to probe Kasab to their satisfaction.”

Bal Thackeray passes away.

Signaling the end of an era in Maharashtra politics, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray breathed his last at around 3.30 pm on Saturday at his residence ‘Matoshree’ after days of uncertainity over his health condition. At around 5 pm announcing his demise, his physician Dr. Jalil Parkar told the media that though doctors tried their best to revive Mr. Thackeray, their efforts were not successful and the Sena leader died of a cardiac arrest. “Balasaheb's life has been one of strict discipline,” Mr. Raut exhorted, asking party workers to make sure nothing untoward happened. Weeping Shiv Sainiks received the news outside "Matoshree" as the police struggled to pacify the large mob. The disbelieving crowd demanded to see Mr. Thackeray or hear the news from his son, Uddhav.

Barca loses against Celtic. Quite unbelievable.

Wednesday midnight couldn't be worse for the best football team in the world FC Barcelona. The UCL match against Scottish Champions Celtic turned out to have the most shocking result as Barca succumbed 1-2. The Catalans have so far lost twice in this season, the previous one being against rivals Real Madrid and the latest against Celtic. Despite the defeat the players seem to be pretty relaxed.

Five bomb blasts hit Bahrain capital, two killed

Five bombs exploded in the heart of the Bahraini capital Manama on Monday, killing two people, officials said, in rare attacks targeting civilians during the 21-month-old uprising against the kingdom's US-backed rulers.
The blasts, one outside a cinema, could be a sign that radical elements of the opposition are escalating violence. They took place days after the government said it had banned all rallies and opposition gatherings to ensure public safety. These incidents are pretty rare in Bahrain. Lets hope for their safety.

Arvind Kejriwal's major expose.

The ongoing things in the fight against corruption have led to some major leaks in the field of politics in India. The most recent one being Arvind Kejriwal's recent expose regarding gas. Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani came under attack by India Against Corruption (IAC) which alleged that the UPA and the previous NDA governments had favoured his company by giving contract on gas exploration in KG Basin and concessions at a huge cost to the exchequer. Reliance was also blamed of 'Blackmailing' the governments to increase gas prices by threatening to almost shut down the production of gas. If even the world's 19th richest man cannot help India to be a better place to live in and make it worse, well i guess we, the

Hurricane Sandy

Well I guess everyone has heard about the  horrific  things happening in The United States Of America due to a Hurricane named 'SANDY'. This is not something new. Prior to this Hurricane Katrina had affected the latter massively. I hope they are taking some useful steps to prevent any damage to life and property. This is going to affect Romney's election campaign too. Such things can ruin a country's future Politically, Economically and Socially. Half of the world is dependant on NYSE. Let's just hope things are fine as soon as possible. Waiting for your views.

Introduction.

Well, to start off I'm Sameer Rajwade from Bangalore,India studying in class 10 of Sindhi High School, Hebbal. I'm aspiring to become an Aeronautical Engineer. I don't really know if people will actually see what I'm writing on my blog but typing down all my feelings will help me in many ways and I hope it will to you people too. To be honest as minor certain things I'm going to post might not be appropriate for people of my age but I'm pretty sure I will not hurt anyone's feelings. This is my first post.
